Medlock FRB aims for £20m turnover

Oldham-based pub fit-out contractor Medlock FRB expects revenues to exceed £20m this year after posting improved sales of £18.5m in 2014.

Results for the year show sales leapt 69% from £11m in 2013. New clients included Whitbread, JD Wetherspoon and Curzon Cinemas. The firm also carried out projects for long-standing customers Greene King, Joseph Holt, Hydes and JW Lees.

Medlock employs 62 staff and operates nationwide. Finance director Colin Drury said first-quarter revenues were up 20% on the same period last year.

Drury added: "We are pleased to report that the company has achieved record sales and further progress against our business plan.

"Along with our strong balance sheet, these achievements provide a robust platform from which to deliver further long-term strategic growth across the business."
