Malcolm Hollis expands Manchester team

The building surveying firm has hired three new surveyors in its Mount Street office in Manchester city centre.

Ben Murphy has been appointed a senior chartered surveyor with responsibility for development monitoring. He joined from AECOM.

John Kelly joined as a senior chartered building surveyor, while recent Salford University graduate Karl Smith was hired as a building surveyor.

Smith previously conducted a placement at Arcus Consulting.

John Woodman, senior partner at Malcolm Hollis, said: “We pride ourselves on being able to attract and retain the best talent and this is particularly pertinent following our decision earlier this year to remain independent. In order to keep moving the business forward, it is essential we expand our service offering and geographic footprint right across the UK and we can only do so with a passionate, engaged and dedicated team. We welcome our new starters aboard.”
