Hub awards nearly £200m in less than year

The North West Construction Hub said it has awarded 14 projects on the high and medium value frameworks with a combined value of £193m for nine clients, of which three clients are new to the NWCH.

Seven high value framework partners for jobs over £9m were announced in August 2014 and the medium value framework was awarded in March 2015 for jobs from £2m to £9m.

The Hub is an important source of public sector work for the region’s construction sector. One of the largest projects on the new frameworks to date is the Redrock Leisure Scheme in Stockport.

For the low value framework, for jobs under £2m, the invitations to tender notifications were sent out to successful organisations in early June. It is anticipated that the new framework will be available from late October 2015.
