DMWR launches in Manchester

London-based practice DMWR Architects has opened a Manchester office in 41 Spring Gardens, with a studio of four staff led by director Denise Giblin.

Established in 1963, DMWR Architects is part of the CHQ Group, headquartered in Hertfordshire, with a further office in Hatton Garden, London.

Giblin is a specialist in dementia design. Alongside Giblin, the Manchester studio includes director Nigel Pilling, associate Chris Raynor with responsibility for BIM, and architect Jaymeni Patel.

DMWR Architects formerly operated a Manchester office 20 years ago. According to the company, the move back to the city has been driven by the business expanding and wanting to strengthen its presence in the North West.

The practice has delivered projects across a range of sectors including offices, residential, leisure and healthcare.
