Construction Awards 2013 shortlist announced

The nominees for the North West Regional Construction Awards 2013 have been announced after examination by a judging panel.

Organisers say this year, a record number of nominations for the annual awards ceremony were received.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 6 June at the Palace Hotel, Manchester, at the event hosted by Constructing Excellence.

Roy Stewart, operations director of the Centre for Construction Innovation, said: "Once again all the judges, including myself, could not believe the quality of this year's submissions – even in these tough economic times, the construction industry in the North West continues to produce quality projects, with quality companies, people and clients, delivering added value in everything they do.

"The industry here in the North West shines as a beacon of best practice and innovation and this year's awards shortlist proves it."
