Central Working doubles office in Great Northern
Newly-established project management firm Recom Solutions has completed its first fit-out in Manchester city centre, a 10,000 sq ft office for Central Working due to open on Tuesday 1 September.
Co-working company Central Working has doubled its size within the Great Northern Warehouse in Deansgate and has relocated into the former Teasers bar.
Central Working delivers flexible office space for business start-ups, with a membership size of 500. The company launched in Manchester 12 months ago.
Recom said it was in discussions with Central Working to undertake future projects, and is also currently on site with a fit-out for coffee shop Grindsmiths at MediaCityUK.
Recom was established in May this year by directors Jason McKnight, formerly of AA Projects, and Joseph Dillon, from Prosol UK. The practice is based in Didsbury and plans to hire two graduates before Christmas to assist with the expansion of the company.
McKnight said: “This was a great start to the business and goes to show that a new start up company can deliver projects within Manchester city centre just as well as an established company. The project had a tight time scale which was managed successfully and we have a happy client which is the most important thing.”
