Cost consultants Turner & Townsend are advising Bootle-based One Vision Housing on the £25m redevelopment of three high-rise tower blocks in Seaforth, Sefton.
Alexander House, Churchill House and Montgomery House are to be renovated to exceed the Government's Decent Homes Standard, with a requirement that the blocks achieve a minimum 3-star rating on the Code for Sustainable Homes for all new build and a minimum standard of ECO Homes 'good' rating for all refurbished properties.
The phased work is expected to start in February 2011 and take four years to complete. Between five and eight bidding contractors will be invited to tender for the work.
OVH manages 11,700 properties across the borough of Sefton.
