Wrexham seeks smoke detecting services
6 Sep 2010, 10:46
Wrexham County Council wants to establish a framework agreement with gas companies to provide a number of tests on properties it owns.
The council said work will involve servicing and maintenance of domestic appliances including solid fuel chimney sweeping, testing of smoke alarms, checking and testing of the council's hot water systems and checking and testing of its renewable systems.
The council said applications are also invited from companies wishing to be included on its remedial gas works programme.
The three year contract will start on 1 April next year and run until 31 March 2014.
Closing date for those wishing to express an interest is 12pm on Friday 8 October.
