£5m repairs contract available in Colwyn Bay

Conwy County Council is seeking a contractor to undertake the initial phase one coastal defence works as part of its £28m Colwyn Bay Waterfront Project.
The work involves retaining existing walls and modifying coastal defence structures already in place.
The £5m contract will commence on Monday 6 December this year with completion aimed to be Thursday 31 March 2011.
Grant funding is being provided by the council through the European Regional Development Fund with match funding provided by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Deadline for submitting tenders is 4pm on Monday 4 October.
