St Modwen adds to Connahs Quay line-up
19 Aug 2010, 12:17
St Modwen has announced a series of new retail tenants at its £15m development in Connah's Quay, Flintshire, North Wales.
Deals have been secured with five new retailers at the district centre: Greggs, Bargain Booze, Just Go Travel, Corbett bookmakers and Barnardos.
Quay Shopping Centre is anchored by a 52,000 sq ft Morrison's food store alongside 12 smaller units, 325 car parking spaces and public transport links.
Tenants already signed up are Connah's Quay MOT Testing Centre, Deeside Fish and Chip Shop and Home Bargains.
Paul Batho, project director at St Modwen, said: "We are piecing together a varied shopping destination which will serve the local community with a range of services. The take up of the retail units, particularly from national high street brands, demonstrates a new found confidence in the area as a retail centre."
Construction of the new district centre is expected to be completed in early September before being handed over to the retailers to start work on the internal fit-out of the units.
Cheetham & Mortimer are the letting agents.
