Finsa UK has taken a new 12,000 sq ft trade and distribution facility at Peel Land and Property's West Float site in Birkenhead, Wirral.
The new distribution centre is located next to an existing warehouse in Vittoria Dock, an area built in the early 20th century.
Finsa, a manufacturer of MDF and laminate flooring, operates in Spain, France, Portugal, Ireland and the USA and employs more than 4,000 people with a turnover in excess of €1bn.
Rafael Willisch, managing director of Finsa UK, said: "This new distribution centre will allow us to improve our service to existing customers all over the country as we will be able to handle small orders with a picking service. With this new operation, Finsa will increase the range of products being offered to local and national customers. This new range will include RTA furniture, laminate flooring, kitchen units and Finsa Garden range."
Ian Pollitt, from Peel, added: "Finsa have continued to see the potential of the West Float site and we are pleased to see they have chosen to expand their operations here."
Patrick Hughes, of Legat Owen, which acted for Peel Land and Property, said: "West Float is in an excellent location under a mile away from the M53 and close to the Mersey Tunnel."
The rental agreement was not disclosed.
