Arley scores with part-ex homes offer

Arley Homes' Churchfields scheme on the outskirts of Bolton is now two thirds sold, with 12 of the 18 properties having exchanged or reserved prior to completion.

John Cosgrave, managing director of the Warrington-based independent housebuilder, said "Churchfields is in a lovely location, right on the doorstep of the Lancashire countryside, and boasts the coveted NHBC Pride in the Job award for quality. We know this is a desirable development and we know people are keen to make the move but still the retraction in bank lending is leaving many buyers unable to make an offer.

"The reality is thousands of sales fall through every year due to breaks in the chain, leaving homebuyers stressed, disappointed and often out of pocket. In the current market it is more important than ever for housebuilders to be able to offer help and I'm delighted that our part exchange service has enabled so many families to buy at Churchfields."

Churchfields is a semi-rural development just off Stitch-Mi-Lane comprising 18 detached and semi-detached properties arranged around a private cul-de-sac.

Arley promises prospective purchasers a part exchange valuation within a week. Prices start from £185,000.
