Salford-based Bramall Construction, a subsidiary of Keepmoat, has appointed Claire Nangle to its newly created business development executive position.
Nangle has 20 years' experience of working in the housing sector and worked as a senior regeneration manager for Opal Property Group and was previously senior business development manager for Gleeson Regeneration.
Nangle was an elected member at Manchester City Council for 12 years and carried out a variety of roles which included acting as an executive member for finance and human resources and chair of the housing committee.
Nangle's previous experience also extends to acting as a non executive director of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a non executive director of Manchester Airport Group.
Nangle said: "I chose to work for Bramall Construction as the company is very diverse and has done so much in different neighbourhoods across the North West and North Wales."
Dave Prescott, managing director at Bramall Construction, added: "I am delighted to announce Claire's appointment. Her vast experience in housing means she will be a real asset to the team when it comes to winning new business.
"Claire has the added benefit of being an experienced bid writer who has excellent links with the housing ,education and health sectors. This will prove invaluable as we take the business forward and break new geographical ground."
