St Modwen toasts upbeat month

Developer St Modwen has reported a raft of deals totalling 140,000 sq ft across its North West portfolio during June.
Seven lettings were recorded at the newly opened Haletop East retail and office development in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
In Merseyside the company achieved five industrial lettings at Brasenose Road and Larch Lea. St Modwen also completed its first sale of a unit at the speculatively developed Stonebridge Park in Liverpool, for in excess of £1m.
Michelle Taylor, regional director, said: "This represents a huge achievement for the team at a time when the market is still relatively quiet. With many other deals currently in solicitors hands, this latest burst of activity shows no sign of abating and highlights that deals are there to be done if you can offer a product that is high quality and in a great location."
