Latest Pugh & Co auction sees 81% sales
6 Mar 2009, 10:42
Auction house Pugh & Co said £12.5m of stock was sold at the latest commercial auction held last week in Manchester.
The 150 lots on offer covered a broad range from pubs to industrial and residential development opportunities.
Paul Thompson, director and auctioneer said there were 1,000 people in the audience and bidding was strong with many lots exceeding guide price. He added: "It was very encouraging to see the activity in the room and the excellent results achieved for our clients offering a broad range of properties, investments and land. It reinforces the view that auction continues to provide the best option to achieve sales in a challenging property market."
The next Pugh & Co auction takes place in Manchester on 23 April at Old Trafford football ground.
