Smiths News signs with Langtree
7 Mar 2013, 10:48
Newspaper distributor Smiths News has signed a 10-year lease with developer Langtree for 20,000 sq ft of industrial space on Alchemy Business Park in Knowsley.
Relocating from Huyton, Smiths News, advised by GL Hearn in Manchester, will occupy units nine and 10 for use as a base for distributing newspapers and magazines across the Liverpool area.
Tracy Dougan, senior surveyor at GL Hearn, said: "The new warehouse facility on Alchemy Business Park will allow Smiths News to better serve the Liverpool area.
"GL Hearn has worked with Smiths News for five years, and is delighted to be working alongside the company as it looks to expand its offer to potential and existing customers."
