PKF sells city hotel
5 Mar 2013, 14:46
PKF has completed the sale of the Print building in Liverpool's Stanley Street on behalf of Bank of Ireland to Signature Living Hotels.
PKF partners Kerry Bailey and John Newell were appointed administrators by the bank in September 2011, following a severe flood and the closure of the hotel by the previous hotel operators.
The sale was completed on 28 February, after contracts were exchanged last November, with the proceeds being used to pay back creditors of the former owner.
The new hotel will be called the Print & Ink Hotel, and is expected to open later this month.
Bailey said: "The Print building has a fascinating history
dating back to the 1880s and the Signature Living team has clearly
recognised its potential. They have an excellent track record in
this area and I'm sure that the Print & Ink Hotel will be
yet another success."
