Prezzo signs up to Media City UK

A new Italian restaurant, Prezzo, is to open in MediaCityUK next week.

The Essex-based restaurant chain says it has spent £650,000 developing the 138-cover outlet which will create 20 jobs.

Last month landlord Peel Holdings signed up Chester-based restaurant group the Red House.

Jonathan Kaye, chief executive of the Aim-listed group, said: "I'm confident that the new restaurant will prove popular with people of all ages.

"Prezzo will serve the highest quality food in comfortable and stylish surroundings and I'm certain it will be a good addition to this fantastic new development.

Prezzo opened its first restaurant 11 years ago and now has 150 across the country.
