CPUK extends healthcare order book
10 Oct 2011, 10:33
Construction Partnership UK has won a £600,000 contract to build a 14-bed extension to a care home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, for Bupa.
The project at the Brook View Nursing and Residential Centre for Bupa's care home division will take 28 weeks to complete, with work about to start on site.
CPUK is also building a £1.3m, 9,250 sq ft centre for MedicX, a developer of primary care premises, in partnership with a local surgery and NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. The replacement for the Wellfield Surgery in Oldham Road, Rochdale, will include eight consulting rooms, two treatment rooms, a nurse treatment room and a MedicX Pharmacy, as well as a 43-space car park. Work on the two-storey building, situated across the road from the existing practice, is expected to be completed in April next year.
Skelmersdale-based CPUK said its healthcare orders have topped £7m in the past 18 months.
