The Birkenhead & Tranmere Neighbourhood Planning Forum has recently applied to be designated.
As part of our media launch we are holding an evening seminar which will provide some interesting insights into the current state of neighbourhood planning.
Already confirmed as speakers are:
- Janet Askew, current President of the Royal Town Planning Institute;
- Dr John Sturzaker of the Department of Civic Design, University of Liverpool, for whom neighbourhood planning is a particular research interest;
- David Ball, Head of Regeneration & Planning, Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and RTPI Neighbourhood Planning Champion, and
- Elizabeth Davey, renowned local historian
