International Building Press Regional Awards

Launched to showcase the continued growth, development and regeneration of the property sector in the North West, these awards recognise and reward outstanding journalism in coverage of the region and its built environment. This year’s host is Jim Hancock, former BBC Political Editor in the North West. Jim has been reporting on the political scene in the region for over thirty years and has interviewed every prime minister from Harold Wilson to Tony Blair. His work has also included a period as a national political correspondent with the BBC as well as presenting the Politics Show. The event draws an audience from across the built environment community.
