Blue Energy

Manchester-based Blue Energy, founded by former Savills director Chris Dean, provides renewable energy to businesses throughout the UK from wind turbines and solar power cells fitted to commercial properties.

Blue Energy meets all infrastructure and maintenance costs and offers annual ground rent or subsidised electricity to occupiers and landlords, under long-term agreements.

The company is currently progressing with installations at several retail parks in conjunction with Stadium Group, along with industrial estates and business parks and two renewable energy resource parks.

Discussions are also ongoing with several local authorities. The company aims to invest £100m over the next three years and has pre-arranged funding to exceed this growth target if suitable opportunities are identified.
